Our core service includes the design of buildings from the beginning, feasibility stage, where the idea of building is tested against the client's budget and other constraints, through the development of design ideas and details to the production of detail information for the assembly of the building and manufacture of special components, co-ordinating the team of professionals needed for more complex projects, advising on procuring building work and obtaining tenders and the administering the contract for the construction work itself, including certifying payments to the builder. Applications for the necessary statutory or other permissions are made on the client's behalf as part of the service as it progresses.

The core service is divided into stages, following the RIBA Plan of Work, the well established building industry standard approach to design and procurement, and clients can chose to appoint us only for the stages they need or for the full service.

Ancillary services provided directly by us include
  • measured surveys of buildings and land
  • town planning advice
  • condition surveys of buildings and advice on repair and maintenance
